Subject: [CALL] TESOL Convention Electronic Village Events and Schedule

      Hello TESOL Educators,
We're so excited for this year's conference, and we wanted to let you know about the events coming up in the Electronic Village. I'm including some of the highlights from the Electronic Village (EV) and Technology Showcase events, including schedules and main events. You can use this information to find the events that best meet your needs. And see the attached program book for more information. Keep in mind some events will be webcast, so if you can't make the convention, you can still participate. Or you can always go back later to watch.

You are invited to the CALL IS Open Meeting on Thursday, March 21, in Ballroom A2 (Technology Showcase). We'll be discussing ways that members can work together in the IS and learn and share their creative ideas about using technology for language learning.

In the Electronic Village in Ballroom A1, notice the EV Fairs on several topics (mobile devices, self-access, classroom tools); the free mini-workshops where you get hands on practice; the Technology Fair Classics; and the CALL for Newcomers.

In Ballroom A2, the Technology Showcase, notice the Academic Session on Gaming and Language Learning; the InterSections with other ISs, and the Showcases for Developers and Mobile App users and creators.

Also, consider volunteering in the Electronic Village and receiving $50 from your TESOL registration. Contact Sandra Wagner <sandylw303@...<mailto:sandylw303@...>>.

It's going to be a great year!

      See you in Dallas!
