As you know from your presentation today, I use SpeedDial a lot but you can't use it on another computer with the same saved groups of urls as you would a Pageflake, for example. You have to copy the Speeddial files to the other computer.
I'm on PC with Firefox so it is a plug-in for Firefox on that machine and that one only. To install the same groups you have set up on another computer, you go to Options, Commandes, Paramètres and choose Export Settings. Put them onto a key and then go through the same proceedure in another computer where you have the Speeddial plug in and now Import - Hey Presto, you see all your wonderful groups on your second computer.
The Speedial file is somewhere on your computer anyway - try Restore Settings, following the same proceedure. Your problem hasn't happened to me yet, so let me know if it works.

Subject: [evonline2002_webheads] Online "SpeedDial"???
Date: Thursday, 22 January, 2009, 3:59 PM
Can you cheer my day up?
For some reason, Mozilla Firefox first froze with a message that went
something like "Background image load finished: Country result null"
(last thing I'd done before that started: posting a Slideshare link on
Facebook, wonder if that was connected somehow).
The only way I found to get out of the loop "Accept/message" was to
reset my PC. On restarting, Mozilla reinstalled itself, and so did all
its plug-ins... I think I've lost some of them, though (the Diigo bar
would take the whole screen... now just half of it?) :-???
What is clear is this: I've lost my Speed Dial configurations, which I
used to group webpages I frequently visit... :-((( Getting all those
links back will mean hours of work...
No crying over spilt milk, but any tool I may use to do what
SpeedDial does but online, so if I switch computers or reinstall my
browser nothing is lost?
I'm on Windows XP, might be switching to Linus at some time during
2009. (not sure that's relevant, just in case).
Keep enjoying EVO!
