      Hi Robert,

We didn't experience any problems in my class. I demonstrated it in class for 5-10 minutes in the beginning. I have a mixed class of graduate and undergraduate students and I cannot say that we had problems using it. (The only problem we had was that some students couldn't see their classmates' pages due to my restrictions on editing pages- which was quickly resolved-  I'm guessing you may need more time to teach how to use it with younger or older learners.

      Thanks Serpil,

This makes me want to reconsider using tools like Moodle to organize a program. How easy/difficult did the participants find using Pageflakes?

      Best,

      Robert

      Hi Long,

I didn't use a wiki but another application called pageflakes :www.pageflakes. com. It is a very flexible tool and there are various applications to choose from. It also allows youto create as many pages as you wish for your students. I have about 15 students and each has a page to post their projects, pictures, and videos. They are all tied to my page as the instructor, and I can also choose whether who can edit what page and if the pages can be accessible online. Please see my page http://www.pageflak es.com/serpilson mez1/24610134 for this. Please feel free to add your suggesitons to our guestbook, if you visit our page. If you click on the tabs next to the "Instructor' s Page" tab, you can see my students' pages. We used it only for discussions, posting text, videos, and pictures but pageflakes has podcast feature as well. So, you can add the podcasting application and place your podcast directly on your page. I don't know how old are your students
      but I

found it really easy to use in my class since my students did not experience any problem using it.
