36TH INTERNATIONAL
CHURCHILL CONFERENCEBook Now
WASHINGTON, D.C.
There are just a few weeks left for you to reserve your place for the 36th International Churchill Conference.
The special guest speaker will be Retired US Navy Admiral James Stavridis.
Admiral Stavridis graduated from the US Naval Academy in 1976 and went on to have a thirty-seven-year career that culminated in his becoming the first navy officer to serve as NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe. After retiring as a four-star admiral, Stavridis served as Dean of the Fletcher School. Currently, he is an Operating Executive with The Carlyle Group and Chair of the Board of Counselors at McLarty Associates
The opening night reception for the conference will take place at Anderson House, the historic headquarters of the Society of the Cincinnati. Winston Churchill visited Anderson House during a trip to Washington, D.C. on January 16, 1952.
One of the highlights of the conference this year will be a screening of Churchill and the Movie Mogul, a brilliant new documentary by filmmaker John Fleet about Winston Churchill’s relationship with Alexander Korda, the primary founder of the British film industry.
