      Topic: HIV/AIDS: What every general practitioner should know

      Target Audience: Family practitioners, internists, post graduate trainees in medicine, medical students doing clinical rotations.


      Introduction of the presenter:  Dr Ashraf Ali Khan is a board certified internist and infectious disease specialist. Currently he is serving as a full time consultant in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Shaukat Khanum Hospital, Lahore.  He is actively involved in the infectious disease fellowship training program in SKCH&RC, which is the only approved institution in Punjab by College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan for such training.  He has a special interest in the management of HIV patients and also has the experience of working with AIDS Care Foundation, Los Angeles, USA.
