      Dear Sir/Ma'am,
      Greetings from AIIMS, New Delhi!

As you are aware, All-India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi  was established as an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament in 1956 with the objective to develop patterns of teaching in Undergraduate and Post-graduate Medical Education in all its branches so as to demonstrate a high standard of Medical Education in India; to bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all important branches of health activity; and to attain self-sufficiency in Post-graduate Medical Education.

Department of Hospital Administration at AIIMS is the pioneering department which is responsible for training of Hospital Administrators across the country. The Research Foundation of Hospital and Healthcare Administration (RFHHA) was conceptualized at Department of Hospital Administration AIIMS to encourage and assist research as well as all such activities that are likely to benefit art and science of hospital administration and management in India and South-East Asia. This encompasses both the technical aspects of management of healthcare delivery in hospitals and the public policy issues related to healthcare delivery. Its mandate is also to enable and facilitate young researchers both financially as well as with knowledge which will enhance the available body of scientific knowledge.

Committed to the enhancement of academic knowledge, Research Foundation of Hospital and Healthcare Administration (RFHHA) in collaboration with Department of Hospital Administration, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi is organizing a three-day Conclave on "Legal and Ethical Challenges in Healthcare Ecosystem" from 18th to 20th May, 2017 at New Delhi. The conclave will open up new vistas for formulating SOPs for respective organizations. It will also address contentious ethical and legal issues related to healthcare and facilitate the stake holders for framing appropriate policies and guidelines. The various topics which will be discussed include Perceptions and Expectations of Society from Medical Professionals, Legal and Ethical issues in Medical practice, Law and Medicine a symbiotic relationship etc. A session has been dedicated only to PCPNDT Act, Surrogacy etc. which will aid in promoting the social cause of promoting the well being of a girl child.  There are contemporary issues pertaining to Medical devices, Compensation and Clinical research which is going to generate lot of contentious debate and resolution of issues.
