Online Gaming Community
Hello, I am John. I thought that you might be interested in these
games, which is why I am emailing you. If this is not the case,
please accept my apologies. It is NOT my intention to annoy you or
waste your time.
I represent the Hollow World Gaming Community, which run numerous
PBEM games set in the 40K Universe. We are currently looking for both
players and for those interested in joining our Game Master Corps. If
you are a player who would be interested in participating in an
active game, we have a number of active games.
Alternately, if you are a Game Master and are looking for a game with
participating players, then please contact me so we can talk about
setting up a game for you. We are always looking for good GMs who are
willing to actively run games.
Here is a link to our main site, followed by a list of our games.
Space Wolves The Space Wolves are essentially space-faring Vikings,
raised on the primitive, barbaric world of Fenris and chosen from the
slain in that world's battles. Once chosen, a warrior is tested for
weakness, trained in firearms, power armor and close combat, infected
to become werewolves and forced to master their inner beast,
genetically altered into super soldiers, and given the finest weapons
and armor to serve their Primarch Leman Russ and the All-Father.

Werewolf: the Apocalypse
Dark Angels The Dark Angels are an order of Space Age knights, who
are hiding a dark secret. Millenium ago, members of their Order
betrayed the Emperor, causing a schism among the Dark Angels and
leading to a civil war which quite literally destroyed their
Homeworld. Now the Dark Angels travel the known universe hunting for
the Fallen, those who have betrayed them, in order to expunge the
blight against their honor from the history of the universe.

Imperial Guard This group features the Imperial Guard Legion of
Steel. The Imperial Guard come from a million different worlds, from
hundreds of millions of different cultures, but are the basic
soldiers of the far future. They are essentially a far-future version
of Modern and Historic Militaries. The Legion of Steel is formed from
the broken remnants of units whose members have survived battles with
high mortality rates, and are now mixed like different metals to form
the Legion of Steel.
Similar to: Colonial Marines in Aliens, Starship Troopers, Stargate,
Imperial Navy This is a typical Space Opera, in which the players
take on the roles of Naval Officers commanding ships, Fighter Pilots
dogfighting in space, or other crew members aboard a spacfaring
Cruiser. These players explore and patrol the edge of known space,
with action taking place in the cockpit, on the bridge, throughout
the ship and in the depths of space.
Similar to: Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Robotech, Babylon 5,
Adeptus Mechanicus The Priesthood of Mars controls all knowledge of
technology in the dark future, and are woven into every aspect of
Imperial Culture. This game follows an Adeptus Mechanicus expedition
to find a fabled STC on the Rad-World of Beryl, which suffered an
Atomic War during the dark age of technology. Enginseers and Adepts
use their mystical knowledge of machines, hack into computer systems
and utlize advanced bionics and cybernetics, and Titan Pilots fight
inside giant robotic mechs.
Similar to; Mechwarrior, Cyberpunk2020, Battletech, Shadowrun, Rifts,
Grey Knights The Grey Knights are a group of psychically powered,
heavily armed and armored super-soldiers whose mission is to seek out
and destroy daemons and daemonic infestation throughout the universe.
Armed with Stormbolters, Nemesis Force Weapons, Psychic Powers,
Dreadnought Terminator Armor and the very genetic structure of the
Emperor, these are the ultimate pinnacle of the human warrior, and
fight the ultimate enemy.
Similar to: Spartans in HALO, Call of Cthulhu, Hunter the Reckoning,
Deathwatch The Deathwatch are an elite unit of Alien Hunters,
employed by the Ordo Xenos, the branch of the Inquisition assigned to
investigate and root out the threats presented by Alien Life Forms.
Each member of the Deathwatch Kill Team is a battle-hardened veteran
chosen from one of the chapters of Space Marines; genetically altered
super-soldiers in power armor. These warriors are the only line of
defense between mankind and the hundreds of alien species that
threaten our very existence.
Similar to: Spartans in HALO, Alien vs Predator, Men in Black,
Sisters of Battle The Sisters of Battle of the Adeptus Sororitas
are an elite group of femme fatale warriors, dedicated to the Emperor
and empowered by the Ministorum. The Sisters of Battle use their
faith and fury to scourge the enemies of mankind and purify the
universe through bolterfire and chainsword. They hunt out corruption
and purge foul cults. Plus, they're hot chicas.
Similar to: Spartans in Halo, Buffy TVS, Amazons, Valkyries, Warrior
Daemonhunters These Agents of the Inquisition keep to the shadows,
hunting for daemons and other supernatural horrors that plague
humankind and keeping them at bay. They have diverse backgrounds and
bring a variety of skills and perspectives to the table. This is
pretty much a standard Dark Heresy RPG.
Similar to: Call of Cthulu, Shadowrun, Hellboy, Supernatural, Hunter
Tau Empire The Tau are an alien race similar to the Grey Boys of
typical UFO lore. They have a high level of technology and utilize,
among other things, Battlesuits reminiscient of Robotech or other
Anime. They have a very asian feel to them. However, there are other
races in the Tau Empire; the savage Kroot hunters, the winged
Vespids, the dwarf-like Demiurg, the psychic Niccassar, and even
Humans. They all cooperate in service to the Greater Good.
Similar to: Grey Boys/UFO aliens, Robotech, Anime, Star Trek, Babylon
Eldar Alliance The Eldar are very much like Elves, or like Vulcans
from Star Trek. Their civilization has suffered a catastrophe that
has destroyed their homeworlds, slain the majority if their people,
and left the survivors adrift on great craftworlds, struggling for
the survival of their civilization and to escape their enemies.
Similar to: A&D/any Fantasy, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica,
Changeling the Dreaming
Chaos This game features various Chaos Characters. Chaos are
essentially the bad guys, traitors to the human race, sorcerors and
followers of daemons. If you want to play a villain, this is for you.
This features Traitor Space Marines as well as other champions of
Chaos wreaking senseless havoc.
Similar to; Spartans in HALO, Villains from pretty much any fiction.
