        I apologize for the photo difficulties I am a having; all photos -- including the 2 photos with the coin on the scale (3.04g), did not post. According to

           I apologize for the photo difficulties I am a having; all photos -- including the 2 photos with the coin on the scale (3.04g), did not post.  According to sources on the internet, the coin should weigh 3.11g.  There is only a slight difference in weight (composition/homogeneity of planchet?).

           

          I have added a couple more photos.  The photos do not really show how gold the color of the coin is.  Unfortunately, the coin has been cleaned.

          The weight difference is not significant. Color can be ignored as it s an unreliable guide to composition. The coin could be plated or turned an odd color

            The weight difference is not significant.  Color can be ignored as it's an unreliable guide to composition.  The coin could be plated or turned an odd color after cleaning.  The specimen also appears to have been damaged during circulation.
