Does anyone know approx value of a 1976 ike dollar double clip o/c combo would be as i haven't seen one that sold recently anywhere.
this coin exhibits 2 fairly large clips one at 4:00 and one at 7-8:00 and the 8:00 clip is a bit larger, both curved clips.
maybe 15% each, but they are large in appearance, and the coin is also 5% off center with the word LIBERTY half cut off the planchet.
i haven't weighed the coin but i also have a similar 76 ike with 2 large clips but not o/c and that weighed in at 20.25 grams, so this dbl clip o/c combo should be in that range....i'll weigh it tomorrow....About 2 yrs ago a nice dbl clip 76 Ike sold for $575 via Heritage(PCGS) and they called it 10% clips....10% sounds small but they look rather large...
