      Hey Al,

Yes, I did...Sold a lot of them off in bulk lots.  I think you got some.  I saved some of the "Starburst" ones, because I thought they might be "special" being a "triple" error and being much scarcer than the "regular" Washington MEL's.

Heck, PCGS started attributing them differently (Struck Thru Grease) at first, then stopped.  I even started paying premiums for more when I saw them on eBay.   Guess I shouldn't "think" so much!...

      Happy Hunting!
      Brian

      Brian,

I think I got a few of them from you a couple years ago, you found some in FL, right?

      Sorry, hit send before finishing......

How about with the "Starburst" effect (I'm assuming Struck Thru Grease) combined with
having a clashed die....making it a "triple" error?  I always paid a premium for these, thinking a "triple" error missing edge lettering Washington, would be worth more than just a plain missing edge one.   But, I've been wrong before!

      Happy Hunting!

They're not worth anymore with the "starburst" effect.

Hi, I have a few of the Washington Error coins with smooth edge lettering and starbursts, some on both sides. I am told that the starbursts are not an error. My question will they be worth more that than simple smooth edge errors?
