- Hi Lyn, I do know that there was a ship called BOOMERANG came out to Aust.
(1873) as I have just finished transcribing it. Will get back to you if I

I am seeking a James Frederick Hill, from Upton , Somerset UK. and have had
one reply saying that a James Hill arrived on the Boomeang. Would this be
meant to be the Boomerang or was there a Boomeang that brought passengers to
Aust.If so, can anyone help me find out if my James Jill is the one I am
seeking ,as there were several by that name that arrived here. Mine would
have been abt 22 years of age His father was ThomasHill[mother Jane
McGregor]from Upton Somerset and my head is sore from banging it up against
a brick wall!
