The article below comments on how the financial market has operated over time. It does not take into account the ecological cost of what the systems of civilization have irrevocably done to the environment. It has been common practice to deem natural resources as being free for use by society. Climate change is only one of the unintended consequences of that lack of understanding of what really happens. It will be interesting to see how the financial market forces deal with the heavily boot in the pocket book from natural forces.
