Group Description

Aiya and mae govannen (hail and well-met)!

Elfstone is a live-action roleplaying experience set in J.R.R. Tolkien's incredible world of Middle-earth. Based in the Atlanta, Georgia (USA) area, our game-events are set amidst the backdrop of the Fourth Age, just nineteen years after the War and Quest of the Ring.

Elfstone features real-time combat, using foam latex "boffer" weaponry, although our greatest emphasis is on dramatic storytelling, immersive roleplay, and character development. We deeply honor the timeless themes of the Professor's works and explore many facets of the world of Middle-earth.

Elfstone also utilizes a unique and original rules system, one designed to best simulate the detailed themes and heroic adventures found in the Lord of the Rings saga, The Hobbit, The Silmarillion, and other works of Tolkien set amidst the backdrop of Middle-earth. Participants may choose to portray virtually anything from graceful Elves, dour Dwarves, simple Hobbits, noble Gondorians, hearty Rohirrim, mysterious Easterlings, tribal Haradrim, and more. The only limit is your imagination, bound only by a handful of rules and the context of the setting.

Feel free to explore the site, peruse the rulebook (found in the Files section), flip through our photos, check out the Calendar for upcoming events, and post or email any questions you might have. We are a small to moderate sized group, and are always looking for fun and creative people to help expand our ranks!

Namarië an si ar nai i-Valar laitalyë (farewell for now and may the Valar bless you)!
