There are many Elvish languages.
Mary has not been translated into Quenya but adapted to its
"orthographe". Just as Mary is not a _translation_ of Marie (or the
other way around) ; in French its Edouard not "Noble-gardien", in
Polish it is Edward, just as in English.
A name translation would imply that it has a meaning. Today in Europe
Proper Names are not motivated (do not have a meaning) and cannot be
