A 20 year-old African Elephant named Flora, who has been performing in a
circus and living alone in captivity for nearly two decades, now has the
opportunity to move permanently to The Elephant Sanctuary, a 2,700 acre natural habitat
exclusively for elephants in Tennessee.

The Sanctuary has agreed to provide Flora with lifetime residency, but we
need to raise $265,000 by July 31, 2003 to build a stall for her at the
Sanctuary's African Elephant Barn that is currently under construction. Visit
www.africanelephants.org to watch the short film "From Circus to Sanctuary" about Flora
and the Sanctuary and pass it on to anyone who may be interested or able to
help Flora.
