unsettled conflict with the triad. As the story evolves Li uses his
hypnotic skills on police inspector Li Wen Jian (Ekin Cheng) who
therefore engages in criminal activities … Featuring a top-notch
cast, the production costs of "Heroic Duo" consumed an incredible
$30 million . Ekin Cheng changed his Witty image and personally took
care of quite a few very high demanding stunts. Leon Lai on the
other hand spared no efforts to gain 10 pounds shortly before the
shootings began to make his scenes as convict appear even more
realistic. The scene in which Ekin Cheng and Leon Lai meet in the
confines of the prison carries has a little bit of the flair and the
atmosphere of the Hollywood
blockbuster "Silence of the Lambs", which adds even more to this
