Come for Candidates, Stay for the Chili

Warm up your political brain and fill your stomach at the Schenk-Atwood-Starkweather-Yahara Neighborhood Association Candidate Forum and Chili Dinner.

      Sunday, February 11
Atwood Community Center , 2425 Atwood Avenue

The forum is 4-5:30 p.m. with no admission fee

The chili dinner is 5:30-6:30 p.m. Tickets at the door cost $6.

Chili will be on sale throughout the forum.

With a primary coming up on Tuesday, February 20, and with contested seats in districts 6 and 15, candidates will share their positions and debate issues in a late-afternoon forum.

Meet your neighbors and the District 6 and 15 candidates as you fight off the winter doldrums with a bowl of tummy-warming meat or vegetarian chili with cornbread, salad and all the fixings.

The chili dinner will benefit the Peat-Piper Scholarship at East High School .
