      Innovations in Arsenic Management for Water Providers

      The University of Arizona Water Sustainability Program in collaboration
      with the Arizona Water Institute is offering a one day arsenic workshop to
      inform participants about response options for the new arsenic MCL.
      Leading Arizona experts on arsenic occurrence, regulatory activities,
      health effects, treatments for arsenic removal, and management of
      arsenic-bearing residuals will present talks of interest to everyone
      concerned about arsenic regulation as it affects Arizona water supplies.
      A companion notebook of background documents and web links for further
      information will be provided to all participants at sign-in.

      WHEN:   Friday, February 17, 2006, 9:30 AM to 4 PM
      WHERE:  CEAC Conference Room, University of Arizona Agricultural Center,
      1951 E. Roger Rd., Tucson, AZ.  For directions, go
      COST:   $100 Regular fee and $25 Student fee.  Lunch and refreshments will

      February 1, 2006*.
      CREDIT:         Five (5) Professional Development hours, approved by the
      Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, will be offered to drinking
      water system operators for participation in this workshop.  Certificates
      will be given out at the conclusion of the session.
