The Roy G. Post Foundation is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for 2013 Roy G. Post Foundation Scholarships.  All students currently enrolled in secondary or tertiary educational programs in any technical or policy fields with the objective of contributing to the safe management of nuclear materials are eligible and encouraged to apply.  Scholarships in amounts of $2,500 and $5,000 will be presented during the WM2013 Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, February 26, 2013.

To apply for a Scholarship, please click on this link to complete your application:   http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2013RoyGPostScholarshipApp or you may copy and paste it into your browser.  Required Scholarship reference forms are available to download on the Roy G. Post website at under the Scholarship tab.

Those awarded scholarships will be asked to take part in the WM2013 Conference on February 24 - 28, 2013 at the Phoenix Convention Center, in Phoenix, Arizona; with conference accommodations and registration expenses paid by the Foundation.  The WM Conference is an excellent way to meet and network with more than 2,000 participants representing the US and international environmental and radioactive waste management fields.

All students are also encouraged to take part in the WM2013 Roy G. Post Foundation Student Poster Competition – student projects, accomplishments and research will be presented in a special poster competition with a $500 cash prize presented on Tuesday, February 26th.  Students may submit a poster summary from now through January 11, 2013 by emailing papers@... - no full paper is required.  Every student presenting a poster in our competition will be eligible for FREE registration and accommodations for the WM2013 Conference, whether or not she/he is awarded a 2013 Scholarship.

Visit the WM Symposia and Roy G. Post Foundation websites at www.wmsym.org and www.roygpost.org. and be sure to friend the WM Symposia on Facebook and follow us on Twitter @WMSymposia for the latest news and updates.

Please take a moment to review the Scholarship Application and share it with students interested in radioactive waste/environmental/nuclear materials management or related fields.  We look forward to seeing you at the WM2013 Conference in Phoenix!
