      Clean, Green and Healthy Tribal Schools

      NEW: June 11th workshop in Denver
      EPA Region 8 will host a Clean, Green and Healthy Tribal Schools Workshop on June 11th at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver in conjunction with the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) Summer Institute. The workshop is designed for BIE Line Officers, tribal school administrators, facility managers, educators, health and safety coordinators, school health professionals, tribal environmental protection personnel, parents of school children, communities and EPA personnel. The goal of the workshop is to provide information and tools for tribal school personnel to ensure that tribal schools are clean, green and healthy for themselves, school children and their community. The workshop is open to the public and there is no cost to attend.

      Livestreaming the June 11th workshop:

      For those who cannot attend the workshop in person, livestreaming will be available from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on June 11th, 2012. Simply go to this link on June 11th and you will be connected; to access livestreaming for the workshop, pre-registration is not necessary. If you cannot dedicate an entire day to view the livestream, you can view specific topics of your choosing. There is no limit to the number of times you can reconnect.

      System Requirements:

      • An internet connection with a minimum speed of 1.5 megabytes per second
      • Windows Media Player or QuickTime
      • PC-based attendees:Windows® 7, Vista, XP or 2003 Server
      • Macintosh®-based attendees: Mac OS® X 10.5 or newer
