      mr. nelson.I am the crew supervisor for the tuba city area of the northland
      youth conservation corps(NYCC). The NYCC is looking for an assistant crew
      supervisor to be hired ASAP. Pay rate would be about 9-11$ an hour and the
      work would be in and around tuba city arizona.
      the person who applies should be well versed in the local area and customs,
      but it is negotiable (the experiance). the applicant should be reasonably
      versed in science (env. science preferably) and not mind hard work under
      lovely 100deg but yet sunny navajo rez temperatures. We would be working with
      high school age students. Anyone is encouraged to apply but knowledge of
      navajo and hopi culture and customs is prefered.

      Types of NYCC projects
      -constructing and maintaining trails
      - thinning forest fules and reducing wildlife hazards
      -maintaining public parks, campgrounds, and recreation areas
      -constructing and maintaining fences and outdoor facilities
      - restoring wildlife habitats and monitering populations
      - planting trees, conducting native plant revegetation and eradicating exotic
      - surveying and monitering using GPS technology
      - archeological surveys and cultural/historic preservation
