      Greetings, everyone!

      Attention!! A reminder that the deadline to apply for 4 AISES
      scholarships for the 2004-05 academic year is quickly approaching.
      If you or someone you know would like to apply for the:

      · General Motors Engineering Scholarship ($3,000 per
      academic year);

      · EPA Tribal Lands Environmental Science Scholarship
      ($4,000
      per academic year);

      · Henry Rodriguez Reclamation College Scholarship ($5,000
      per academic year); or

      · A.T. Anderson Memorial Scholarship ($1,000 per academic
      year for undergraduates, $2,000 for graduate students)

      you must submit a completed application(s). Applications must be
      postmarked no later than Tuesday, June 15, 2004.

      Applications must include a completed application form, essay, at
      least 2 letters of recommendation, official transcripts, resume, and
      proof of tribal enrollment (where applicable.) Please read the
      application checklists carefully to ensure that you submit all
      necessary documents in a timely manner.

      Scholarship application forms (pdf format), FAQs, sample essays, and
      other guidelines are on the AISES website at:
      http://www.aises.org/highered/scholarships/ . Reviewing these
      guidelines will help you put together the best scholarship
      application possible. AISES scholarships are merit-based, so it is
      vital that you spend the time necessary to make your application
      stand out. Remember to have someone proof-read your essay! In
      addition, obtain letters of recommendation from individuals that
      really know you well, and can attest to your academic abilities,
      leadership skills, or other qualities that make you an excellent
      candidate for an AISES scholarship.

      Please feel free to forward this message to others that might benefit
      from an AISES Scholarship.

      Best wishes,
      Shirley
