Hi Everyone! Arizona Project WET and the Desert Museum are partnering to implement an
Earth Camp for Educators! Earth Camp for Educators gives middle and high school teachers an opportunity to explore relevant content about the Earth and acquire new skills for learning and teaching through authentic inquiry.
These workshops will build up to planning, implementing and presenting your own investigation on a Mt. Lemmon overnight. A week-long summer workshop will focus on human impacts on
Earth systems. During this week, you will choose at least one of the
topics explored during the spring and create a poster for a Desert Museum exhibit and website.
This camp will provide classroom lessons for teaching about water education, a
stipend of $300, professional development credits of 84 hours, and
real world resources for you to implement in the classroom to engage the students.
