    CCS 250: CULTURAL PERSPECTIVES:

    ART AND LIFE IN ANCIENT TUSCANY will be offered by NAU Art History Professor, Dr. Alexandra Carpino, during Fall 2011

    This course focuses on the archaeological and artistic remains of the Etruscans, the first great civilization of Italy. The Etruscans’ contributions to Roman culture and their importance during the Italian Medieval and Renaissance periods will also be considered. CCS 250 fulfills the AHI Liberal Studies block; it can also be applied to the majors/minors in Art History, CCS, Humanities, & Museum/Religious Studies.
