    Greetings,

On behalf of The Wildlife Society (TWS) and the Native Peoples Wildlife Management Working Group (NPWG) of The Wildlife Society, I am pleased to announce the 2010 Native American Professional Development Grants Program (see attached). This years grants program is a competitive program available to all Native American, Alaska Natives, First Nations, Native Hawaiian or Indigenous Tribal students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program studying natural resources or natural resource management. Grant funds will enable students to attend the 17th Annual Conference of The Wildlife Society, to be held in Snowbird, Utah, October 2-6, 2010. Individuals selected for this program will receive grants of $1,500 each to help cover registration fees, lodging, meals and transportation to the conference. All indigenous students in a relevant academic discipline are strongly encouraged to apply. Please note the application deadline is AUGUST 6, 2010 so please post and distribute this announcement to any and all potentially interested individuals, agencies or organizations. Thank you for your time!
