      Water Education Teacher Workshop
      Project WET is a nonprofit water education program that facilitates and promotes awareness, appreciation, knowledge and stewardship of water resources through the dissemination of classroom-ready teaching aids for k-12 teachers.
      Thursday, March 24th
      Mesa View Elementary School
      Chinle, Arizona
      9:00 - 4:00 p.m.
      Facilitator for this workshop will be Mansel Nelson, program coordinator for the Native American Environmental Education Outreach Program at Northern Arizona University.
      A $25 stipend will be given to participating teachers to purchase Project WET supplies. Teachers that complete the training will receive, at no cost, a copy of the National Project WET k-12 curriculum.
      Each school with participating teachers will get a Project WET kit.
