      Position Summary:
      GreatSchools, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Business Analyst.
      The primary role of this talented person is to help drive increased
      sales by identifying, analyzing and developing potential
      opportunities and working with sales, business development,
      marketing, product management and engineering to match our product
      offerings to these opportunities. The Business Analyst will use
      analytical, technical, communications and organizational skills to
      support the organization's efforts to develop solutions that best
      meet our customers' needs and serve as the company's resource for
      compiling and distributing Web site metrics.


      Primary Responsibilities:
      • Provide insights and expertise on the development and
      implementation of sales strategies, new advertising vehicles and
      promotions.
      • Make strategic recommendations; design and develop business
      analyses, reports and proposals to help increase the effectiveness
      of sales conversion, pricing, traffic and key business partnerships.
      • Track and analyze the performance of selected advertising
      campaigns, business partnerships and competitive offerings.
      • Assist with the planning, development and execution of
      targeted marketing campaigns aimed at increasing revenues for the
      organization.
      • Identify, maintain and evaluate key metrics and processes
      that need to be tracked for the organization; develop associated
      reports for internal distribution.
      • Serve as the company's lead resource in compiling Web site
      metrics, primarily using Omniture Web analytics software, and train
      other departments in the use of Omniture for reporting and analyses.
      • Provide tracking and analysis of search engine traffic,
      create related reports, and distribute results on a regular basis.
      • Update and maintain ad sales collateral and associated
      sections of our Web site.
      • Provide support for advertising operations (inventory
      planning and implementation) as needed.

      Experience/Education/Skills Required:
      • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, mathematics or
      an equivalent field
      • 3-4 years of relevant operational or online industry
      experience
      • Excellent quantitative, analytical and technical skills
      • Strong experience creating metrics, reports, proposals
      and/or financial models
      • Excellent attention to detail, highly organized and flexible
      • Solid understanding of various online advertising delivery
      vehicles and technologies
      • Proven track record of developing, implementing and
      maintaining essential business reports
      • Strong oral and written communication skills

      Experience/Education/Skills Preferred:
      • Experience working in a small business or a start-up
      environment
      • Hands-on experience using Omniture, or similar Web analytics
      software tools
      • Experience with analyzing and reporting site traffic from
      search engines

      Essential Qualities:
      • Positive work ethic, and ability to exercise mature judgment
      • Independently motivated team player
      • Preference for a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
      • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines

      Salary DOE. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position. We
