      Currently we are seeking a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager
      who has experience in the education and/or non-profit sectors. We
      need someone to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial
      information, to handle payroll, accounts payable and receivable,
      financial reports and monthly closing process, and other accounting
      functions. This position will initially manage one direct report,
      and additional staff as the organization grows (current budget is
      about $10 million across five sites).

      Responsibilities include:
      - Manage all accounting functions
      - Process payroll
      - Manage accounts receivable from funding entities
      - Prepare accounts payable
      - Process retirement plan reporting
      - Input journal entries
      - Complete the monthly close process to produce monthly
      financial statements
      - Understand and meet government and school district financial
      reporting requirements
      - Build upon and improve financial processes and workflow in a
      multi-site context
      - Coordinate annual financial audit
      - Create financial reports and analyses for board, management,
      and funders

      Ideal Qualifications:
      - Five years successful accounting experience: A/P, A/R and G/L
      experience
      - Accounting degree
      - Working knowledge of nonprofit fund accounting, government
      accounting, small business accounting systems
      - Knowledge of MIP fund accounting software
      - Hands-on with the ability to think strategically
      - Comfortable with a fast-growth environment
      - School/education experience is a plus
      - Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong interpersonal
      skills
      - Excellent Excel skills

      Compensation: $60,000 to $75,000 depending on experience.
