      ...renewing the promise of public education...

      PartnersSI Spring Benefit 2005

      Hosted by Partners in School Innovation and Board member Dan Miller,
      with a special performance by Aphrodesia

      Come out Memorial Day evening to support Partners in School
      Innovation's work to help more students living in low-income
      communities to learn how to read. Bring your checkbook to bid on
      silent auction items, and come ready to groove to the tunes of Super
      Afro Beat Band Aphrodesia.

      What better way to get to know one of the Bay Area's leading school
      reform organizations than by spending a little quality time with us?
      After the barbeques, after the parties... step out with a friend (or
      six) for some silent auction bidding, an introduction to our work,
      and the Afro-beat inspired music of our fabulous guests Aphrodesia!

      When: Monday, May 30th, 7-10pm
      Where: 12 Galaxies - 2565 Mission Street (between 21st and 22nd
      Streets in San Francisco)
      What: A fun evening where you'll enjoy a brief intro to PartnersSI's
      work, a silent auction, cash bar, and a performance by Aphrodesia.
      How much: $35 at the door, $30 if you sign up early (see below for
      details), and $20 if you're a teacher or administrator from one of
      our partner districts (San Francisco, San Jose, and Oak Grove School
      District).

      Still have questions? For more information, contact Jessica Partch
      (415-824-6196, ext 124).

      To whet your palate, a smattering of the silent auction items
      generously donated from our friends and sponsors include:
      * A day spa package.
      * Luxury hotel accommodations.
      * Restaurant gift certificates.
      * A Palm Treo.
      * A round of golf for three and lunch at the Peninsula Country Club
      with Board Chairman Gary Steele.
      * Four Field Club tickets to a San Francisco Giants home game.
      * Handmade jewelry from local artisans.
      * Catered dinner for four.

      Register early for the event through our Network for Good Web page
      and save $5. Just be sure to type in "event" where it asks
      for "Designation" so that we know to look out for you.
