      ACELERO LEARNING ANALYST
      Acelero Learning focuses on helping Head Start programs build
      effective management systems through long-term, ongoing partnerships
      that provide on site coaching and feedback, technology and tools,
      and network support. Our goal is simple: to help each of our
      partners operate a world-class Head Start program that creates real
      change for children, families, and staff who participate.

      Acelero Learning is currently recruiting for an Analyst. The Analyst
      Position will support our team of Managing Directors who work on-
      site with Head Start programs around the country. This full-time
      position is based at the Acelero Headquarters in New York City, with
      local and regional travel as required by program needs (up to 25%).

      Start Date: Immediately

      ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      Support Head Start Partner Programs (40%)
      • Support team of Managing Directors working in the field with
      Head Start programs.
      • Assist in preparation of tools and resources for Head Start
      partner programs, such as financial models and data for ongoing
      monitoring of performance.
      • Prepare materials and resources necessary for on-site training
      events with management teams of Head Start partner programs.
      • Assist Managing Directors with development and implementation
      of site-specific resources at all six Acelero Learning partner
      programs.
      • Manage information contained in Acelero Desktop, an online tool
      that supports planning and project management activities for the
      management teams of Head Start programs.

      Network Support Tools Development (30%)
      • Assist Director of Network Support in production and
      development of network communications tools.
      • Research and organize logistics for providing additional
      content and/or trainers for network support calls and other training
      events with Acelero partner programs.
      • Coordinate follow-up activities resulting from network support
      events, such as additional research or scheduling follow-up training
      and/or technical assistance.
      • Plan and coordinate annual Acelero Learning Management
      Institute for partner programs, Summer 2005.

      Acelero Learning Training Business (10%)
      • Coordinate logistics involved in Acelero Learning's
      training activities with Head Start programs around the New York
      metro area.
      • Provide support to Director of Network Support in developing
      marketing materials for training events and other products and
      services.
      • Research and new business opportunities for Acelero Learning by
      staying knowledgeable about relevant events and upcoming legislation
      affecting Head Start.

      Network Development and Sales (10%)
      • Assist with grant writing for new RFPs and contracts and copy
      edit written Acelero documents.
      • Assist with sales presentations on an as-needed basis.

      Administrative (10%)
      • Manage daily business of Acelero Learning at company headquarters
      in New York City.
      • Support team in administrative efforts as necessary.

      Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree is required.

      Desired Qualifications:
      The ideal candidate will have:
      • Multi-year project management experience in the education sector,
      or similar experience
      • Attention to detail and tendency to drive towards completion
      • Solid research experience; ability to quickly and clearly
      synthesize information
      • Strong analytical reasoning and critical thinking skills
      • Strong written and oral communication skills
      • Demonstrated interest in education and social enterprise field
      • Ability to execute on a number of diverse projects simultaneously;
      comfort with taking initiative and making progress amidst competing
      priorities
      • Willingness to work in a flexible, start-up environment
