experience while earning $80,000 to $90,000 a year as a senior
manager in one of our nation's largest urban school systems. The
Broad Residency allows you to work for a superintendent or other top
executive for two years while training to become one of tomorrow's
public education leaders.
Randy Ward, State Administrator of the Oakland Unified School
District, will discuss his bold plans to improve the academic
outcomes for all children in Oakland while restoring fiscal
discipline to the ailing school district. Marcus Castain, Associate
Director of The Broad Foundation, will tell you how you can join
Broad Residents Barak Ben-Gal, Troy Christmas, Monique Epps, and Ky
Vu in their efforts to transform public education.
