      Community Relations and Alumni Associate

      About the Position:
      The Community Relations and Alumni Associate will be responsible for supporting the CEO and Director of External Affairs with communications to and engagement of key stakeholders of Explore Schools, including Explore alumni in high school and college and their families and Explore parent leaders. Additionally, this role will serve as the central office manager; will provide general support and scheduling for the CEO, as well as assist with special projects as needed. Below is a more specific list of job functions and duties
      Key Responsibilities:
       Maintain contact with Explore Schools alumni through personal communications including phone calls and emails to alumni students and families
      • Maintain alumni database and manage calendar of alumni communications and data collection
      • Analyze data and identify trends related to Explore Schools' alumni in high school and college
       Collect resources and information for, create, and disseminate mass communications including annual alumni survey, quarterly alumni newsletter and monthly alumni email
      • Maintain Alumni Facebook Page and update content regularly
      • Supports planning and execution of school-based alumni events and family meetings
      • Serve as liaison for parent leaders and the organization
      • Coordinates all PAB meetings including scheduling, participant communication and meeting logistics
      • Support CEO with creating agendas and topics for PAB meetings and analyzing parent feedback
      • Support creation, dissemination and analysis of annual parent survey
      • Serve as office manager and purchasing agent for the central office
      • Ensure clean, professional and welcoming office environment
      • Support CEO on outreach to key community stakeholders, including parents, donors and elected officials
      • Support CEO with scheduling and travel needs
      • Assist and manage special projects as needed

       Bachelor's Degree, required
