      We are looking for a dynamic and innovative classroom teacher with a working knowledge of how to leverage the power of digital learning to help students achieve. We are looking for a consultant with expertise in K-3 English Language Arts.

      As a Digital Learning Consultant you will:
      • Curate high-quality, free, online digital learning activities and share them on PowerMyLearning.com (CFY's free K-12 learning platform)
      • Try these activities in your classroom, rate them, and give feedback
      • Develop supplementary materials to make the use of these digital activities easy and effective for students, teachers, and parents
      • Align the activities you find to the Common Core State Standards so that other teachers don't have to
      • Participate in our Digital Learning Teacher Advisory Board to provide feedback and ideas to improve PowerMyLearning.com

      Ideal candidates are:
      • Current classroom teachers
      • Experts on digital learning activities available on the web, actively promote them to other teachers, and are obsessed with keeping on top of what's new
      • Knowledgeable on the Common Core State Standards and are already actively planning to meet them
      • Able to work collaboratively and remotely, under the direction of a member of the National PML team

      RESPONSIBILITIES
      • Commit to an average of ten hours per week from June through August 2014
      • Work with a member of the PML team to set weekly goals to curate new content for PowerMyLearning.com
      • Develop supplementary materials to make the use of these digital activities easy and effective for students, teachers, and parents
      • Participate in weekly virtual training sessions during June
      • Participate in weekly virtual collaboration sessions thereafter
      • Respond to and give feedback to fellow consultants on digital activities and supplemental materials online and/or via email

      COMPENSATION
      Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
