      JOB DESCRIPTION


      We are a small team looking for a Sales Associate & Analyst to market out gradebook system, as well as our blended and personalized learning solutions, to school districts throughout the country for grades K-12. Your input will also help to guide our growth strategy. This position is a full-time opportunity in a proactive and upbeat environment working hard to improve education worldwide.    
        
      Responsibilities: 
      •    Establish and exceed sales goals 
      •    Create and execute strategic scalable sales plans with precise execution, follow-through and reporting
      •    Identify prospective school districts and decision makers in each district 
      •    Build and clean targeting list / database 
      •    Create incremental sales opportunities at cold accounts 
      •    Engage in differentiated communication with decision makers by email and telephone, developing relationships and referrals 
      •    Research and discover sales opportunities at district and state levels 
      •    Advance sales flow and build customer relationships to maintain and expand market penetration 
      •    Conduct customized sales presentations 
      •    Facilitate transition of opportunity to account executives and client support teams 
      •    Coordinate outbound and inbound marketing efforts with Engrade marketing team 
      •    Share insights into district and state level needs and opportunities with Engrade executives 
      •   Follow developments and policies related to educational technology, instructional practices and public / private funding that may impact sales strategy and execution 
      •    Follow up with prospects to learn about competitive landscape 
      •    Use and adapt multiple sales software, platforms and devices 
      •    Consistently use sales automation system to track new leads generated, conversion of leads to opportunities, dollar value of pipeline, conversion rates of opportunities to deals 
      •    Granular understanding of Engrade products 
      •    Adopt a generative learning approach that shares and appropriately applies lessons learned to sales practices 
      •    Work in the office or, at times, remotely, and travel if necessary 
       

      Desired Skills & Experience

      Required Experience 
      •    Bachelor's degree. 
      •    Two years’ experience in training, sales or marketing. 
      •    Two years’ experience teaching or developing curriculum. 
      •    Knowledge about educational technology trends. 
      •    Ability to write concise emails and customize them depending on client. 
      •    Ability to speak on phone (including cold calling) with warmth and curiosity.
      •    Proven software skills. 
      •    Travel may be occasional.
