As a critical Education Elements team member, you will lead the sales operations team and own key processes related to supporting sales team productivity. You will be responsible for managing and analyzing key performance indicators to enhance the organization's understanding of revenue functions and to improve decision-making.
You will report initially to the Executive, Growth & Development and have the following responsibilities:
Specifically, the Sales Operations Manager will:
Collect, analyze, evaluate and report sales data in order to increase sales productivity
Collect sales records & trends and evaluate performance measured against KPIs and quotas
Assist in developing and reviewing the sales budget and rolling sales forecast supported by variance analysis
Provide guidance, analysis and support to improve Growth & Development team effectiveness
Develop cost per sales model, provide analysis and guidance to improve productivity
Prepare all sales reporting packages for executive team and board of directors
Prepare proposals and contract drafts; ensuring that content meets client's requirements, internal and legal standards
Provide customized reporting and recommendations in support of ongoing business decisions and initiatives
Manage current CRM programs and recommend future data software requirements as needed to provide accurate decision making support to the business
Lead and coach the sales operations team.
3-5 years sales and or sales analyst experience, preferred experience in SaaS + professional services heavy organizations
Fluent using CRM programs in Sugar, SalesForce, or others
Experience in negotiations and contract development
Demonstrated ability to develop "management consultant style" Power Point presentations
Ability to develop complex models and forecast in Excel with proven skills in pivot tables and macros
Demonstrable attention to detail and clear track record of delivery despite challenges
Proven ability to design proposals and analyze cost assumptions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to fuel a collaborative environment
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, lean start-up environment
Bachelor's degree, advanced degree a plus
