      JOB DESCRIPTION

      Interested in pursuing an exiting career in public education
      reform? The newly formed California Charter Schools
      Association (CCSA), the state's premier charter schools
      member association is looking for highly-skilled, dynamic
      individuals to join our Bay Area Member Support Team. The
      Member Support Team will serve as the primary point of contact
      for all Association members, ensure high-quality, timely
      technical support response to member inquiries, and ensure
      continuity and accuracy of technical support resources. Send

      QUALIFICATIONS

      This person must have the ability to:

      Solve problems aggressively and creatively and be proactive
      about ensuring that solution(s) satisfactorily meet the needs of
      members.

      Communicate effectively in both oral and written formats to a
      variety of audiences.

      Work proactively and resourcefully with minimum
      supervision/direction.

      Efficiently multi-task and demonstrate exceptional follow through.

      Experience within the education community or with serving that
      marketplace is preferred. Bachelor's degree is a must. Sales or
      customer service experience is essential. Excellent
      compensation package, commensurate with experience.

      DUTIES

      Act as primary point of contact for the Association's members,
      potential members, parents and general community.

      Promptly answer technical questions pertaining to charter
      school operations using the tools of the Association's
      knowledge and resources repository.

      Provide resources for and monitor progress of complex
      requests.

      Track and fully document member interactions.

      Update and create knowledge-based articles to populate
      knowledge and resources repository.

      Provide periodic reports and updates to the Association's staff
      members to assist with understanding the most pressing
      issues facing the Association's membership.

      Assist with the development of association workshops and
      events.
