      Territory Sales Manager

      Description:
      Classroom Connect, a business unit within Harcourt, Inc., is a
      leading provider of Professional Development solutions focused on
      improved teacher quality and student achievement in K-12 education.
      The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is responsible for all aspects of
      sales in their assigned geographic location. The TSM works in a team
      environment with Inside Account Managers and Learning Specialists and
      acts as the team leader.

      Job Responsibilities
      · Development of market through referrals and effective
      relationship
      building
      · Face-to-face meetings and product demonstrations
      · Cold call initiatives
      · Development of territory specific business plans to reach
      established sales quota
      · Manage a territory budget
      · Provide high-level of company & product awareness in the
      marketplace and building market share
      · Extensive air and auto travel in the Pacific Northwest

      Job Requirements
      · B.S./B.A. college degree
      · Minimum of 2 years experience in the education industry, either
      sales or teaching
      · Previous teaching experience preferred
      · Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      · Ability to juggle multiple tasks and changing deadlines
      · Ability to work independently, creatively and collaboratively to
      solve problems
      · Strong attention to detail and follow through
