We currently have a rare opportunity for an incredible individual to lead our marketing efforts. The ideal Marketing Director should be committed to educational programming for kids and willing to work at both strategic and tactical levels to market our summer camps. Everyone in our company is hands-on!
Marketing Planning & Strategy
o Develop annual Marketing Strategic Plan
o Develop and manage marketing budget
o Lead strategy for brand positioning and messaging for Galileo Learning, Camp Galileo, and Galileo Summer Quest
o Lead continuous analysis of all marketing results and recommendations for improvement
o Contribute to decision-making regarding camp program pricing, refund policies, discounts, etc.; ultimately lead decision-making in those areas
Oversee strategy and implementation of all marketing campaigns & tactics. This includes, but is not limited to:
o School marketing
o Referral programs
o Email marketing
o Direct Mail
o Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, Blog
o Print advertising
o Online advertising: SEO, SEM, & web ads
o Community & grassroots marketing
o Manage two direct reports, Marketing & Communications Manager and Marketing Assistant, plus seasonal staff as needed
o Oversee management of contracted vendors including graphic designers, SEO, PR, and more
o Lead cross-functional team of Area Directors in community marketing activities
o Oversee recruitment and management of parent marketing liaisons in select communities
Collateral & Copy Development
o For three distinct summer camp programs, oversee Marketing & Communications Manager to develop brochures, websites, fliers, emails, postcards, newsletter copy, and all marketing collateral for marketing campaigns
o Oversee messaging and design of camp t-shirts and other camp collateral
â¢ Bachelorâs Degree or higher
â¢ Minimum 5 years in a marketing role
â¢ Demonstrated ability to develop marketing strategies and analyze ROI
â¢ Strong staff management experience. At least 3 years managing staff and cross-functional teams
â¢ Excellent written communication skills
â¢ Experience developing marketing collateral
â¢ Strong analytical skills
â¢ Proven ability to work with teams
â¢ Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
