The K12 Search Group has recently partnered with Education for Change to recruit a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to join their senior team. We are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial leader with a track record of success and a strong commitment to urban education.
Briefly, Education for Change was founded in 2005 by experienced educators and entrepreneurs with the mission of providing a superior public education to Oakland's most underserved children. As a Charter School Management Organization, EFC operates public schools designed to offer a high quality education at no cost to parents. EFC serves a racially, ethnically and economically diverse student population and currently enrolls over 1200 students at three elementary schools in Oakland, California: Education for Change at Cox Elementary, Achieve Academy and World Academy.
Education for Change is seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer who can capitalize on the momentum of the past five years and work collaboratively with the board and dedicated staff to take the organization to the next level. Additionally, the new CEO will have the opportunity to galvanize the team behind a shared vision and build a dynamic organizational culture that is embraced by school-level and central office staff.
