Reporting to the CEO and located in Berkeley, CA, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership and management of the organization. This position has been created both to ensure the organization's infrastructure cohesively supports implementation of the strategic plan across the entire organization and to help grow the business.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years experience in a senior management role within an education-oriented organization, with a strong track record in performance management, and business development. In addition, he or she will have a keen understanding of education-related issues and emerging trends both nationally and in CA, particularly the value of making education relevant by situating academics in real-world career applications.
