      Galileo Learning: Recruiting Director

      Overview:

Galileo Learning provides opportunities for young people to discover and
pursue their passions by operating summer camps across the Bay Area that
serve over 10,000 kids annually. Our Camp Galileo, Galileo Summer Quest,
and Tech Museum Summer Camps programs inspire kids to imagine and
create. The heart of this inspiration comes from the more than 700
educators and college students that lead our programs.

Galileo is seeking a Recruiting Director who will have overall
responsibility for hiring the incredibly talented summer staffers
mentioned above. You and your team of 7 will generate more than 5,000
applicants, and then expertly manage a process that identifies the most
talented among them. As applicants interact with your team they will be
blown away by Galileo's energy and professionalism. By the time they
reach the final interview stage with our Camp Directors, the seeds of
our very special culture will be sown. Greatness will follow.

The Recruiting Director will be an integral part of Galileo's
17-person year around crew based in the Lakeshore District of Oakland,
CA. We work hard, strive to grow professionally, and we've been
known to wear costumes to staff meetings.
