Director of Development & External Relations
      Partners in School Innovation

Partners in School Innovation is an agent of public school and district transformation. Working throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, the organization partners with public elementary school teachers and leaders in low-income communities to build the leadership and instructional capacity necessary to accelerate the literacy achievement of Latino and African American students and English learners, using results-oriented improvement processes. During the next five years Partners in School Innovation plans to establish its approach as a national model of how to transform low-performing elementary schools and accelerate the learning of students of color from low-income backgrounds. To do that, Partners in School Innovation will extend its intensive school-change work beyond the Bay Area, enabling the organization to reach many more students and schools, and demonstrating on a larger scale in more varied circumstances the extraordinary results that its signature approach can produce. Partners in School Innovation seeks a Director of Development & External Relations to design and implement an expanded strategy for fundraising through significant partnerships with major donors, foundations and corporations.
