      ABOUT THE POSITION
      The HR Manager is responsible for developing, managing and
      implementing the providing a full range of HR services.

      This is a full-time position, reporting to the Principal / Executive
      Director

      REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
      • Commitment to Eastside's mission and serving our population.
      • Bachelors degree or equivalent and a minimum of seven years
      of increasingly responsible human resources experience, spanning all
      aspects of HR: recruiting, compensation, training, benefits, change
      management, business process improvement, performance management,
      teambuilding, organizational effectiveness.
      • Experience / understanding of the non-profit and education
      sector would be ideal.
      • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to function
      effectively with all levels of staff.
      • Excellent communications skills (oral, written,
      presentations).
      • Commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and
      personal integrity.
      • Flexibility to adapt HR practices to meet Eastside's culture
      and to meet changing needs and priorities as they occur.
      • Demonstrated ability to work independently, organize work,
      manage projects, prioritize multiple tasks and complete assignments
      in a timely and proficient manner.
      • Ability to think strategically, tactically and creatively.
      • Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to exercise
      discretionary judgment and handle difficult situations professionally
      and constructively.
      • Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of all local, state,
      and federal labor laws and regulations.
      • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with metrics and
      trends. Able to perform analyses and apply data in describing issues
      and recommending solutions.
      • Knowledge and experience using computers and HR related
      software, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel; MS Access, etc.
