      specializing in e-learning. With offices in San Francisco, London,
      Sydney, Beijing, and Singapore, we provide highly creative

      We are looking for a self-motivated, confident, brilliant and fun
      Project Manager/Instructional Designer to join our energetic team in
      downtown San Francisco. There are also opportunities in our Sydney,
      London, and Singapore offices. Successful candidates must have the

      Job Summary

      Project Managers/Instructional Designers oversee the design,
      development and delivery of custom projects to A.S.K. Learning's
      clients. You will be involved in every step of the process, from
      consulting with the client's Subject Matter Expert (SME) to
      overseeing the course design and development in Macromedia Flash.
      You should be a quick learner, organized, a great communicator, and
      have a talent for teaching and explaining in a captivating style.


      -Manage projects from inception to completion, including timeline,
      budget, resources, production, and client relationship
      -Transform client content into instructionally sound, interactive
      and creative e-learning programs
      -Build timelines, outlines and storyboards around client content
      using Microsoft Project, Word and PowerPoint
      -Communicate with a Fortune 500 client in a professional manner
      (verbal, written, and digital)
      -Facilitate client and internal team meetings
      -Liaise directly with client SME and Project Manager throughout the
      course production cycle
      -Oversee team of Flash developers
      -Work with art director to establish look and feel, style guide, and
      development timeline
      -Communicate new or revised instructional design expectations to
      content developers and support teams. This includes training and
      distributing new documentation, when appropriate
      -Write voiceover scripts and direct recording sessions
      -Coordinate testing and QA of module; track feedback
      -Manage project budget by monitoring scope creep and bringing in
      proper support when needed
      -Deliver interim and final hand-offs to client
      -Support sales efforts by providing work-hour estimates for
      potential projects


      -Superior writing skills, including the ability to write concise,
      creative, and effective instruction
      -Excellent verbal communication skills and comfort in managing
      relationships with diverse team-members – from clients to developers
      -Competency in MS Office products (MS Word/PowerPoint/Project);
      familiarity with Flash helpful, but not required
      -Business or technology consulting experience a plus
      -Professional drive and the ability to self-manage timelines and
      potentially tight deadlines
      -Eagerness to grow and develop, taking on more responsibility over
      -Management experience in a design and/or technology environment a
      -Experience in e-learning, training, or instructional design a plus
      -Background in art, music, dance, theater, design or writing a plus
      -Two to five years professional work experience
      -BA/BS from a 4-year university

      Ideal Candidate

      -Has a demonstrated ability to create highly innovative, visual-
      based instructional materials
      -Is comfortable identifying and speaking to strong online-user
      -Project management experience (3+ years)
      -Experience working with executive level clients
      -Passion for producing killer deliverables which are creative and
      -Comfortable in a small office environment
      -Exceptionally creative
      -Exemplary editing skills
      -Software product development experience in web-related
      technologies, particularly those focused on e-learning
      -Familiarity with HTML, Macromedia Flash, Fireworks, Freehand,
      ColdFusion, and Adobe Photoshop
