Founded in 2002, Extreme Learning, Inc.
(www.extremelearningcenter.com ) is a fast-growing educational
services provider for Kindergarten through 12th grade students,
currently serving the California market with plans to expand
nationally. Customers include individual parents who bring their
children to Learning Centers, and school districts, which contract
with Extreme Learning for services to be brought to their schools to
serve low-performing students in low-income areas. The California
State Board of Education recently re-approved Extreme Learning as a
Supplemental Service Provider under the No Child Left Behind Act
(NCLB). Extreme Learning utilizes technology to ignite students'
passion for learning while providing them academic support and
enrichment. Our corporate office is located in Morgan Hill,
California and the Director of Development will be based there
approximately one day per week, with the remainder of the week spent
working with clients and potential clients.
The Director of Development will report to the Vice President of
Development, and will be responsible for $5.4 million in revenues
from sales of Supplemental Services and other services to school
districts in Northern California. These revenues will include
renewals of current contracts totaling $1.8 million. The sales

Researching backgrounds, needs, and budgets of eligible
schools and districts
Identifying key decision-makers in the Supplemental Services
adoption process in each target district
Establishing meetings with key decision makers, including
district and site administrators, parents and students, and teachers.
Making presentations to key decision makers, describing and
demonstrating Extreme Learning's services, benefits, and pricing
Negotiating contracts with district administrators
Extending initial relationships with districts to include
Extreme Learning's operational personnel
Maintaining and building relationships with school and
district administrators, and identifying additional revenue
Working with operational personnel to resolve any
implementation issues as they arise.
The successful candidate is a bright, committed, articulate, self-
motivated, cooperative professional with strong experience in public
education as well as in sales of contracted services. Experience
with NCLB, Title One, and other categorical programs is desired.
Candidate must have been a school principal and/or district
administrator. Bilingual ability in Spanish and strong technology
skills are desired. Must be willing to travel within the Bay Area
and Central Valley.
Compensation includes a base salary, commission on sales, and profit
sharing. Extreme Learning, Inc. also offers medical benefits, 3
