      JOB SUMMARY:

      The Director of Product Management will be responsible for driving
      the overall product direction of the entire Destination-U service.
      The Director of Product Management is an integral part of the
      company, working closely with the marketing, business development,
      and technology team to deliver on product goals. This is a great

      The successful candidate will uncover key insights and develop
      product strategies to enhance the value of the customer
      relationship, while maximizing the value that the customer receives
      from Destination-U. Experience, determination and enthusiasm for
      taking a winning service and making it even better is a must. The
      ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, passionate about the user
      experience, and have a creative approach to problem solving.

      This position will direct and manage the entire product lifecycle.
      Responsibilities will include subscription revenue generation,
      formulating product strategy, defining future product needs, and
      maximizing customer satisfaction. In addition, the Director of
      Product Management will be responsible for tracking and improving
      rates of conversion throughout the customer lifecycle from visit to
      registration to membership purchase.

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
      • Manage the complete product lifecycle.
      • Develop and execute the product roadmap including strategies
      and product enhancements to increase perceived value and customer
      conversion rates.
      • Responsible for managing the operation of the service which
      includes day-to-day operations, developing new features, and
      evaluating new opportunities.
      • Interpret and translate business needs and operational
      procedures into detailed written requirements.
      • Responsible for in-product marketing strategy for acquiring
      registrants and then converting registrants to paid users
      • Establish project priorities and trade-offs in conjunction with
      product direction and available resources.
      • Develop process improvement strategies through coordination and
      analysis of customer LTVs, purchase behaviors, and segmentation
      analysis.
      • Conduct periodic analysis of data pertinent to the operation
      and performance of the Destination-U service.
      • Conduct market research in order to measure user satisfaction
      and make improvements in the service.
      • Collaborate with customer support to maximize the overall
      customer experience
      • Develop management reporting and use analytic tools to gauge,
      monitor, and pinpoint areas for improvement.

      JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
      • Minimum of 5 years experience in product management and
      development in an internet environment.
      • BA or BS is mandatory and an MBA is preferred.
      • Must have a good background in full product development
      lifecycle including designing product roadmaps and writing
      functional specifications.
      • An excellent track record of managing and developing major
      products, improving and ensuring quality of products, and solid
      product management skills in an on-line subscription environment.
      • Strong analytical ability to assess complex situations and
      exceptional creativity to provide solutions.
      • A passion to obtain outstanding results while working on
      products that can impact peoples lives.
      • Experienced, energetic and motivated to accomplish defined
      goals.
      • Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
      • Highly detail oriented and strong ability to understand
      consumer needs and attitudes.
