Envision Education schools transform the lives of students – especially those who will be the first in their families to attend college – by preparing them for success in college and in life. To support the organization’s educational mission, financial health, and future growth, Envision Education must ensure that its schools are consistently fully enrolled. In this important role, the Enrollment Manager will work as part of a team to implement and manage a well-coordinated and effective approach to recruiting a diverse set of students and families to Envision Education schools.This position will report to the Director of Development and will work closely with Principals, school staff, families, students and community organizations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Project Management/Oversight of Enrollment Process:· Works with the Director of Development to plan and evaluate enrollment strategies and tactics for the three Envision schools.· Coordinates and supports Principals and school staff with enrollment-related communications, including mailings, Callfire, phone and email correspondence to students and families.· Collaborates with school staff on scheduling and publicizing open houses, information sessions and other school visits.· Responsible for following up with students and families before and during the visiting, application, acceptance and enrollment processes.· Manages administrative aspects of the enrollment process, including supporting school staff in entering student applications in Thriva system and enrollment data into PowerSchool system.· Tracks key metrics and milestones related to student recruitment and create relevant data-driven reports to illustrate the status of enrollment efforts, budget updates, and other relevant information.Outreach and Events:· Along with Principals, represent Envision Education at enrollment fairs and other community events.· Provide event planning and support.· Communicate effectively with parents and other constituents who contact the schools with enrollment questions.· Working closely with school Principals, research and cultivate relationships to create opportunities for school Administrators to present to and build partnerships with feeder schools, parents and community organizations.· In conjunction with the Communications Manager, help to create and distribute appropriate enrollment marketing materials.· Review and update web content regarding enrollment information and activities.REQUIREMENTS:· Belief in Envision Education’s philosophy that all students, regardless of race, socio-economic status, family background, or past academic performance, can succeed academically.· Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate and work with diverse groups of people.· Highly organized multi-tasker with an ability to adapt easily and work within set deadlines.· Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and work independently.· Knowledge of the K-12 education landscape preferred.· Outgoing with strong presentation and written communications skills.· Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Google applications, with ability to learn new technologies.· Ability and willingness to travel between schools located in San Francisco, Oakland and Hayward, CA, and to work evenings and weekends as events may require.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE· Bachelor’s Degree Required· 2-4 years experience in process-oriented, customer-focused work required.· Experience working in a school environment or with urban youth preferred.· Ability to speak Spanish a plusThis is a regular full-time, year round, salaried position with three weeks paid vacation, up to 10 days paid sick leave a year, paid federal holidays and a significant contribution from Envision Education towards medical benefits, as well as up to a 3% match on contributions to a 403(b) optional retirement plan.TO APPLY:All interested and qualified candidates must apply online via www.envisionschools.org/apply by submitting a resume and cover letter.
