Adobe Education Evangelist (Consultant)
Location Flexible; San Francisco, CA - Preferred
Adobe seeks a full-time consultant to serve as a member of our growing Adobe Education Evangelism team. Working with the Adobe Worldwide Education Programs team, the Adobe Education Evangelist will be responsible for driving awareness of and demand for Adobe tools and solutions in K12 within the western region of North America.
This is a full-time consulting position with the possibility of converting to a full-time regular employee position. The ideal candidate will be based at Adobe’s San Francisco office and will be willing to travel throughout the western United States and Canada.
Represent and advocate for Adobe Education at all levels and with multiple stakeholder groups (government, public sector, private sector, institutions, teachers, students, communities, etc.) throughout the region
Drive awareness of Adobe Education solution in the region
Develop and manage strategic relationships with K12 institutions
Train K12 educators to transform their teaching practice with Adobe tools and services
Demonstrate compelling usages of Adobe technologies for teaching and learning
Lead local strategic events
Identify and organize local Adobe Education Leaders and other champions to drive impact
Identify, share and scale best practices from students and educators to key stakeholders
Measure, analyze and report on impact of evangelism activities
Shape the development and growth of a Worldwide Education Evangelism program for Adobe
5-10 years of experience in K12 education; 10+ years highly desired
Masters Degree required
Classroom teaching experience required; experience in K12 administration (school, district or state level) desired
Deep understanding of and connection to current trends in K12 education including: Digital Media Literacy, Common Core standards adoption, Career and Technical Education, Arts Integration, Blended Learning, e-Learning, etc.
Experience designing and delivering high-quality, participant-centered teacher professional development following adult learning principles
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization
Commitment to creative thinking and collaboration as core values; innovative problem solver with ability to think big and deliver results
Working knowledge of Adobe software highly desired
Willingness to travel within the specified geographic region (approximately 40% travel)
Salary commensurate with experience.
