      Hello,

Another long lasting problem with EditPlus:

When editing HTML, you can right-click on a file name in the Directory left panel, and choose "Insert as Tag" for automatically generating a <a> or <img> HTML tag with the name of a file on which you expect to link. And more, if the file is a picture, EditPlus automatically fills the "width" and "height" of the file with proper values.

This works quite well with local files, but if the inserted file is located on a FTP server, I get something like <a href="ftp(0):/dir_on_site/file_on_site.html"></a>, which is not a valid tag. I'd rather expect something like <a href="relative_path_to_file/file_on_site.html"></a>.
Worse, if the file is an image file, EditPlus try to get the width and height of this file, which it seems to be unable to do from FTP, so I always get the wrong URL quoted above, plus a noisy error message window warning me about a syntax error.

I end here with a suggestion: why not adding, for example below the "Insert as Tag" command, another command named "Insert filename" which would simply insert the corresponding filename in the text, regardless if the current file is a HTML, php, C++ or any other kind of text file on which you may want to insert a file name?

      Regards,

      Gingko
