Re: [edit+] Browsing through latex files
- I suggest looking at TeXnicCenter, an editor designed specifically for
Latex. It is freeware, open source, good quality, and used by many
PC-based Latex users. See http://www.toolscenter.org/
Latex features include: a tree view of all sections subsections etc,
lists of \labels, equations, figures, graphics files, etc. It comes
configured to run Miktex and optionally include Bibtex, view the .dvi
file, or produce and view ps or pdf, all with a single click.
Defects: at present, syntax highlighting is limited and not
user-configurable; and it's a specialised Latex tool, in no way
replacing the functionaliy of Editplus.
